With more than 150 clients in six countries, including the large majority of Dutch and Belgian railway undertakings, OBV has been a trusted partner for the rail sector for twenty years.
Built on experience
From 2006 to now
OBV was founded in 2006. What began as a sideline with the Rule Book, refresher instructions and company passes has grown over the years into a complete service provider for the rail sector in the Netherlands and, by now, beyond it.
In 2016 we started developing RailSysteem, the platform that brings all our digital services together, and founded the Legal Desk. At the end of 2019 OBV was taken over by the third generation of the family. In 2021 OBV Training Centre followed, so we could also offer accredited training to railway undertakings. In 2025 the Legal Desk expanded into Belgium, and we are currently extending that service to Germany.
Two companies, one mission
OBV Group consists of two companies. OBV-Logistiek focuses on consultancy, knowledge, digitalisation and compliance. OBV Training Centre on training and instruction. Two separate companies with one shared mission: contributing to the safe and efficient carriage of passengers and freight by rail.
