Who it’s for

For trainee shunters employed by a railway undertaking.

Your shunter can carry out shunting movements safely, accompany rail vehicles, and make up and split trains.

Theory at OBV Training Centre in blocks of three to four days, alternating with practical days at the railway undertaking
Progress in class and in practice is reviewed with the undertaking, and adjusted where that is needed
Can be combined with the wagon inspector and train driver courses

Location: ’s-Hertogenbosch or your own site
Examination is the responsibility of the railway undertaking, and is run by OBV where you want that

Periodic or one-off classroom refresher instruction, keeping knowledge and certifications current.
