Post-incident support training
Preparing staff to provide support and aftercare following a serious incident.
A collision or another serious incident can happen to anyone working on the railway, and the impact is often considerable. Colleagues, team leaders and managers are the people expected to provide the first support. This training covers how to do that well, and why it matters so much to recovery.
Who it’s for
For anyone who supports colleagues after a distressing event, or who may be called on to.
After this training
Your staff recognise what a distressing event does to a colleague, and can hold a supportive conversation well.
